Chipping Norton Theatre

I was lucky enough to have been asked by Chipping Norton Theatre  to be their artist in residence in 2010 and in 2011. I was able to sit in on  the very beginning of rehearsals for the 2010 pantomine, Beauty and The Beast and in the following year’s  Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves. I loved observing and trying to capture the whole process. I had to work quickly but that suits my style.

The greatest influences on my work  have been Matisse and Raoul Dufy. I was also greatly influenced by the late Clifford Ellison, one of the UK’s most distinguished art restorers.

The Gallery at Chipping Norton Theatre has held exhibitions of my work.
